In our new series titled “Ski Hill Shoutout,” we’re looking at some of the most vibrant outcroppings of ski culture that don’t normally get on the pages of Powder Magazine’s resort guide.  In this installment, we take a loot at Bolton Valley, Vermont, which is soul skiers paradise located just outside of Burlington, VT.

Bolton Valley Ski Resort

Founded in 1966 by Ralph DesLauriers (father of ski pioneers Rob and Eric DesLauriers), Bolton Valley Ski Resort has served as a family friendly ski hamlet since its conception. Countless nor-easter’s have learned how to ski on this humble ski area’s slopes and with night skiing, groovy UV college kids, and affordable daycare and ski school options, it’s a hodgepoge of all things Vermont. Normally, Bolton is uncrowded and can have fresh lines days after a storm.
As of now, the ski hill is locally owned but is looking for investors… Who doesn’t want to say they are part owner of a ski area?
