NOAA: El Niño Predictions for Colorado’s Winter

The jury is out on how Colorado will be affected by El Niño.

That is until now.

NOAA just released its predictions on how the strong El Niño trend will affect colorful Colorado this winter.

Basically, history points to an average to above average snowfall total for Colorado as a whole with the southwestern part of the state recieving the surplus goods. Namely, predictions are saying the eastern San Juan mountain range should recieve some above average snowfall if these models pan out through the winter months.
