Find Out How Vail Resorts Plans to Spend $110M in Upgrades For Next Season.

As stated in a press release, Vail Resorts is planning on investing between  $110 and $115 million dollars prior to the 2015/2016 ski season. The majority of these funds will be allocated to connecting Park City and Canyons Resorts before moving on to other projects at various resorts across the country.

Over the past 5 years, Vail Resorts has invested over $500 million in resort improvements

According to the statement, $50 million dollars will be targeted at connecting Park City and Canyons, thus creating the largest ski resort in the United States with 7,300 skiable acres. It doesn’t stop there either.

Vail plans to improve the Avanti Lift at its flagship resort Vail Mountain before moving on to improving snow making systems at Beaver Creek and Breckenridge. Also on the docket, Vail will upgrade the Keystone Lodge and Spa as well as put some more funds towards Vail’s newest app, EpicMix Time, which allows users to see how long lift lines are.
