A 21-year-old man was rescued from Beartooth Pass after falling into a tight crevasse after hitting some rocks.
The rescue took approximately five hours to complete.

The Gardner Headwall is a popular extreme skiing area that can be accessed near the highest point on the Beartooth Pass.
Despite a report stating the man fell 400 feet, Sheriff Josh McQuillan said on Monday the fall was significant but not 400 feet.”
