According to reports, Michael Schumacher’s wife, Corinna Betsch has sold Schumacher’s multi million dollar jet and is contemplating selling their Meribel chalet because, “he won’t use them again.”
Since sustaining a traumatic brain injury while skiing off-piste at Meribel Resort in the French Alps in December of 2013, Formula 1’s most decorated driver has remained out of the public eye. Schumacher’s condition remains largely unknown but it is believed that his progress has been marginal.
Reports indicate that a medical team is working day and night at his home in Switzerland but hope is fading and medical professionals believe that full recovery is nearly impossible.
Corinna has taken control of Schumacher’s $780 million business empire is seen by some to be an acceptance that the Formula One legend will never fully recover.
