In recent years the Big Air portions of the skateboard and BMX X-Games experience have been steadily growing in both rider skill and viewership. To capitalize on this this X-Games Austin just announced that they are spicing things up by sending two at time down that nearly vertical in-run and what will be known as Big Air Doubles….here’s the thing, double launching the gap no problem….double hitting the quarter pipe, could be a HUGE PROBLEM. There have been bad halfpipe doubles accidents in the past but the forces you’re are playing with in a a mega ramp situation are far more serious. Lets hope everyone understand the gravity of the setup and any kind of coordinated over under moves are done safely.
