Watch: Cross-country Crash Just Moments Before The Finish

This three man pileup just moments before the finish of the cross-country ski sprint final left only 31-year-old Hattestad and Teodor Peterson of Sweden, 25, to compete for the gold. Hattestad finished in 3 minutes, 38.39 seconds, 1.22 seconds ahead of Peterson. Fellow Swede Emil Joensson skied past the fallen racers and took the bronze medal before collapsing at the finish line, 19.74 seconds back of Hattestad.
