Calling this place a resort might be a bit of a stretch but it is very intresting to see one of the only videos ever taken of North Korea’s Mount Paektu Ski “Resort”

Begaebong is a place in the north of North Korea, where local people can find a ski resort. It is the place to start the visits to Mount Paektu. I was there in may and the weather was still snowy and icy, and even if this area is supposed to be one of the best with new houses, huge sports equiments, you still can see people using snow to clean. © Eric Lafforgue www.ericlafforgue.com
