This storm is finally getting here and will start dropping snow tonight. There should be snow on the ground in the Tahoe basin by morning with snow falling throughout the day Monday.

A WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY FOR SNOW REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM MIDNIGHT TONIGHT TO 4 PM PST MONDAY. * TIMING: SNOW WILL DEVELOP LATE THIS EVENING AND CONTINUE THROUGH MONDAY AFTERNOON...WITH THE HEAVIEST SNOW EXPECTED LATE TONIGHT AND MONDAY MORNING. * SNOW ACCUMULATIONS: 4 TO 8 INCHES AT LAKE LEVEL...WITH 6 TO 12 INCHES ABOVE 7000 FEET.
SNOW TOTALS BY TUESDAY MORNING:

This is a significant amount of snow at Squaw considering that we’ve only gotten 51-85 inches all year.
The next storm might hit us on Wednesday and drop a few inches…
