Ever see that show on the Discovery channel called “How It’s Made?” That show was usually interesting for a few minutes, unless you got the lame episodes like “paperclips.” Well this is kinda the same thing but put to snowboard-video music and without commentary and in China. But it does show us basically how a Sandbox helmet is made.
Sandbox is a local Whistler company founded by Kevin Sansolone, and we all know that it makes no sense to put a helmet factory in Whistler, so unfortunately China it is. At least the working conditions look pretty good to me; I’d probably wear some gloves though.
