Past Couple days have been quite wet. Most trails in Stowe just can not stand up to water and become soft and the local club frowns upon riding them in such a conditions. Luckly for us in Northern Vermont Kingdom Trails and their sand based soil on Darling Hill make for pretty good riding condtions even in extemely wet weather. Just be careful on the slimy roots and your good to go! Even in the wet its a speed demons treat to ride Kingdom as the trails are just plain faster than most of what we have in Stowe. Let hope for dry weather so Stowe’s trail system can dry out, and keep on riding right up until some skiable snow.
