The Salt Lake City area has tons of mountains and some pretty good mountain biking. Unfortunately the best trails (Crest/ LCC/…) are still buried under multiple feet of snow. Well now there is a new place to get your bike on just outside Park City. It is called Trailside and there are loads of new features that have been built into the new flow trails there.
The new trails are super dope and if you are good at riding dirt tracks (I am not) you will love them (I loved them anyway.) There is a smaller flow line to the East of the new big boy line and there is also an older skills park located up the hill from the finish of the main flow track. The new jumps, berms and features were built by Progressive Trail Design and they are well put together. We were all curious as to who will be maintaining the trail now that it is built.
The park is super easy to get to: Drive East on I-80 from SLC. Pass the Kimball Junction exit and exit onto Rt 40 South towards Heber City. Take the 1st Exit for Silver something or other. Take a right and drive until you see bike ramps and wall rides to your right.
