It was between The Chimney and Donner Peak today. Both good options; both can get your heart pumping. I chose Donner. I think it was the right choice simply because I had a blast out there with my buddy Adam Ruscitto (Yes, he wears the same outfit as me). We got up on top of our line in a howling wind early this morning. The upper portion of the peak had been wind scoured badly during a recent east wind. But, after those first coupla’ turns, it was perfect.
I’m still feeling a strong miss-itis for the Chimney. But, it’s only February, the next storms are coming in wet, and I don’t think we’ve seen the last of the Chimney session video from Unofficial. Stay aware, humans…
