So my eye just opened up a couple days ago. Now, I can see that the white of my eye is completely blood filled. Crazy huh. But overall my swelling has gone way down and life is good. Getting my surgery at UCSF, under my insurance, by the chief plastics guy there. This inspires a ton of confidence as I know I’ll be getting it done by the best on Earth. Which is nice.
Overall, it’s just nice to not look like a total freak anymore. I’m crazy fired up about skiing right now and I just can’t wait to get back out there and start charging again. Hopefully a couple weeks off doesn’t make me too weak. Regardless, I just want back out there.
