The filmer ended up with GoPro imprint on his forehead and two broken ribs. Despite the silly soundtrack this was very serious incident and highlights the forces at play when skydiving:
“While training for the British Nationals a move which we had performed several times goes wrong, I was pretty dazed when I came round and had barely enough time to deploy my canopy, end result very bruised face with the imprint of my GoPro in my forehead and 2 broken ribs, my team mate had a very bruised and sore leg, after the skydive we watched the video, worked out what went wrong, took some pain killers and did it again, how did we do in the competition, we won of course like al good stories, we both consider ourselves very lucky as this clash could have taken us down other path which we are glad it did not.”
