Canadian Snowboarder Kody Williams In Critical Condition After Head Injury In Vancouver

16897174_1482279599-180522 year old professional snowboarder Kody Williams is reportedly on life support after sustaining a traumatic head injury while riding in Vancouver, British Columbia. The Inertia is reporting he is in a medically induced coma.  There is a GoFundMe account set up to help with medical bills. It has surpassed it’s $10,000 goal with a whooping $25,899 raised so far.

This is from his GoFundMe Page:

“Kody severely injured his head and brain on 12/19 and is at Vancouver BC hospital. If you care about this amazing young mans life and well being, him and his family could use any help possible. Unforeseen medical bills, help Kodys family with time off of work, travel expenses for family to visit, and the process of physical therapy. We are all hoping and praying for you to come out of this ok Kody. So much love is all around you.”

Well wishes are pouring in for Kody across the snowsports community including fellow Canadian snowboarder Craig McMorris:

Thoughts and prayers to this man right here. Get well. @who.is.kody
