The Northeast, especially Maine, hosted a winter kickoff with many of the resorts seeing up to a foot of fresh snow.

According to photos by Jamie Walter, Sugarloaf Mountain had an all-time Friday and it’s only October. Unfortunately, temps will rise this week before cooling off early next week.
