Over the course of the past week, a number of mountain passes in Colorado have seen a smattering of snowfall and right now Pikes Peak is covered in the white stuff.

It seems as though the Colorado Front Range 14’er has picked up approximately 4″ of snow in the past week and if you’re looking for a taste of winter in August, Pikes is your best bet. Throughout this week, Coloradans can count on its highest peaks to get more snow as a weak moisture system moves through the state.
