A massive avalanche killed 6 skiers Saturday in the Italian Alps near the Austrian border. According to CNN the avalanche occurred on Monte Nevoso, or Snowy Mountain, and hit at 11:15am local time. 8 others escaped unharmed. 100 rescue personal where shuttled to the scene by 4 helicopters.
