While the majority of the United States takes a break from getting dumped on, Whistler is currently getting the goods. Starting today, Whistler Blackcomb is on track to get up to 40″ at its higher elevations by Sunday.

The heaviest accumulations will come tonight as over a foot of snow is expected above 5,900 feet!

Initially, snow levels are supposed to be high and the base area of Whistler is likely to see rain through Friday with a transition to colder temperatures by Saturday morning. However, the upper mountain snows should provide great coverage for the bigger lines and open up some new possibilities off the Peak Chair.
