Alex Honnold is one of the most well known and well respected climbers in the world. He is best known for his free solo ascents of big walls.
Honnold says that he likes tall, long routes and that he tries to do them quickly, but in this video Alex takes to the streets of San Francisco to accomplish some urban ascents.
“I spend so much more time on rock where its so natural to me,” Honnold tells Stride Health, “whereas with buildings it’s much more of an adventure — I don’t have that much experience climbing up buildings, so it’s more exciting.”
