Gigi Rüf broke one his own rules trying to get a shot and paid the price, don’t ride fresh snow until 24hours after it has fallen. When windows are small and budgets looming sometimes these guys take risks that they otherwise wouldn’t. The lesson here is to stick to your guns when it comes to safety policies no matter what the variables.
