People were concerned with this edit because they thought Trennon was ripping up MTB trails and was a danger to the biking to community.  This is what Mr. Paynter had to say in response…

“No, I’m not. Squamish has a large network of single track dirtbike trails. The local dirtbike community (SBDA) and Mountain bike community (SORCA) have done an amazing job creating trail networks for both sports and they work together in many areas creating shared access routes as well. The concern is understood, and well noted, as I am also a mountain biker and love using both trail networks, for their designated purposes.”

Love it when athletes participate in the conversation.  Here’s what he had to say about his gear….

“Actually I have more protection on that you probably realize… Tech 7 Boots, UFO knee and shin guards, Dainese rigid hip protection impact shorts, etc. I just find that throwing jeans overtop all of that works just as well for me as buying some fancy riding gear. Sorry it doesn’t meet your standards, but anyways thanks for taking the time to lecture people on the internet, have a nice day.”

..jeans over the pads, classic.
