The mountains in Banff National Park are beyond spectacular and warrant anyone to visit here just to see them! But then at the base of the mountains are glacier fed lakes and gorgeous hikes through out the park. It was an experience unlike any other, especially with the added bonus of the Northern Lights! During the week while shooting this video the Northern Lights came out to play on the horizon while the moon ( :30 ) rose. Then three nights later, unexpected even from the prediction sites it came out in full force dancing away as you can see during the opening scene! It was clear even to my own eyes on the horizon!
The town of Banff is also a rather worthwhile stop on a road trip through the Canadian Rockies as well! From the awesome locals, food and breweries to the mountainous terrain view able from the main street!!
