The IRS has released new numbers that show Teton County,Wyoming as the richest county in America. The average income in Teton, home of Jackson Hole ski resort, is nearly $300,000. Compare that with $62,483 for the average American household. However, one should keep in mind that Teton County has long been an haven for the uber rich. The America millionaires and billionaires who claim Teton County as home can skew the data (median figures were not released), but this list gives you a good idea of where the money is.
