Mt Washington

The East Coast picked up it’s first snowfall of the season! The most prominent mountain east of the Mississippi River, Mt. Washington, picked up around an inch of snowfall over the past 24 hours.

Let’s hope this is a sign of a good season to come for the East.

“As of roughly 10:30 this morning, summit winds are still gusting at hurricane-force with an outdoor air temperature of 25 degrees. Even with a break in the clouds the current wind chill factor sits at 1 degree above zero. Happy Fall everyone! Hope you’ve got your sweaters out today!” – Mount Washington Observatory
