Mt. Baker ski area has gotten 140 inches of new snow in the past 10 days.  They’ve gotten 187 inches of snow in the month of March.

MT. BAKER SKI AREA:

– 140 inches of new snow in the past 10 days

– 187 inches of snow in the month of March

– 301 inch snow depth at Pan Dome

– 250 inch snow depth at Heather Meadows (base)

You don’t get warnings like this very often at ski resorts:

“We have received over 140 inches of snowfall in the past 10 days and 187 inches for the month of March so far! During this time of huge snowpack be sure to watch out for low chair clearance in some areas.” – Mt. Baker ski resort

Ok, you don’t get warnings like that at any ski resorts…except Mt. Baker.  Baker rocks.
