A few years ago, I watched a movie about the N0-Board in Banff. It was a snowboard without bindings, but with a strap you held onto. Looked pretty lame. These guys are snowboarding without bindings and without a strap. Looks pretty sweet.
If snowboarding could figure out a system where it felt more like surfing – where you’re completely free to move your feet around anywhere you like as you ride – I think even I’d switch over. These guys look like they’re getting close.
Which brings me to the question: Is surfing cooler than skiing?
