Ever wonder where all the Pro skiers go for après? They go to the Garibaldi Lift Co. The GLC often attracts pro skiers like Dana Flahr and James Heim because of the good food and fun atmosphere. But don’t go there to ohh and ahh over bad ass skiers. Go to the GLC for a bite to eat and some live music. The GLC is located at the base of Whistler Blackcomb, upstairs in Whistler Gondola building.
Where is the after party? It’s probably at the GLC. Take note that if Whistler Blackcomb sponsors a ski or snowboard movie, the after party will often be at the GLC. The Garibaldi Lift Co. is the best place to watch events and concerts in Whistler Village. Go there to watch the big air and concerts during the Telus World Ski and Snowboard Festival, see the finish line and the slopestyle course for Crankworx. Basically the best place to view any event in all of whistler.
The GLC is “Whistler’s finest live music venue” and SKI Magazine ranked the GLC as one of North America’s best après bar. For some good food, a fun time check out the GLC in Whistler.
