The Flylow Gear Ridge Glove is everything I LOVE in a quality product. They are built super well, are a simple design, are functional, and are a great value. Perfect! I picked up a pair of these gloves a few weeks back at Boot Doctors during the Jingle Jam in Mountain Village and couldn’t be happier with my purchase. They are made of supple leather and fit ‘oh so right’ when I first put them on. When I saw that they only cost $40, I had to get them!

Built like a work glove, but with much better materials and construction, the Flylows are made of a thick pigskin leather that is twice as abrasion resistant as cowhide. They are triple baked with Astko’s SnoSeal Bees Wax treatment making them super waterproof and even more durable. The stitching is perfect and the flexible cuff is nice if you wear a large watch. They have Heatrac Thinsulate Insulation and are as warm a glove as you need for Telluride or most western ski resorts. For Stowe or Jay peak, these would be a great spring glove!

Since I have been skiing in these, the leather is breaking in nicely and starting to develop a lovely patina. They are fitting even better than when I got them and I love the dexterity I have with the gloves on. I find I don’t need to take them off very often, just when I need to cool off my hands. These gloves are surprisingly really warm! For 40 bucks you can’t go wrong with the Ridge glove. Oh, and Flylow Gear is a Colorado company and they have a lifetime warranty! AWESOME!

Flylow also makes the Tough Guy Glove, a $28 version of the Ridge with breathable cloth panels and cowhide instead of the full pigskin.
