Check out this brothers-in-law team of arborist out of Seattle that moonlights as cat rescuers. The PNW has no shortage of trees that extend beyond the ladder truck of the local fire department so when your cat gets stuck atop one of these natural giants you call Tom Otto and Shaun Sears to the rescue. With anywhere somewhere between 375-400 rescues a year, these dudes stay busy in their off hours.

I’ve known a few ski bums who worked as arborists in the summer to fill their piggy banks for a winter spent on the slopes.  Its a good job but not one for the timid.  Cool to see these guys volunteering their skills and working completely off donations.
