For those Kirkwood skiers and riders thanking their lucky stars for #MiracleMarch, the party is being cut a little too brief as Kirkwood just announced they will close April 8 this year. That leaves just 12 days (*including today) of operations left on the schedule.

With a 112″ it would seem as though continued operations are totally feasible but the resort will close its doors early due to a variety of circumstances. Northstar and Heavenly also announced their projected closing dates, April 15th and 22nd respectively reports the Tahoe Daily Tribune.

Mammoth says they will stay open through Memorial Day weekend and even further into the summer if mother nature is feeling generous. Squaw Alpine Meadows has yet to announce a closing date.
