Fischer Sports asked Maine’s finest athlete, Donny Pelletier, to put their new RC4 skis to the test. Being a fan of the vintage, Donny decided to take along his favorite RC4s from over the past several decades.
While out on the slopes putting the skis to the test, he ran into a look-alike/stunt double. This look alike got some pretty sweet turns going on the slopes, but he didn’t seem to have quite the same style and speed as the great Donny Pelletier. He was Olympian and World Cup Gold Medalist Steve Nyman, though.
Nyman is a three time Olympian, competing in the 2014, 2010, and 2006 Winter Olympics in Downhill and Super-G. In 2015 and 2016 he finished 6th in the FIS World Cup Standings for downhill, and 10th in 2007. He’s pretty darn good, but is he as good as Maine’s finest athlete?
