Travis Rice took a page out of the gaming world when naming this incredible spine deep in the Tordrillos Mountains of Alaska. The veteran snowboarder teamed up with rising star Estelle Pensiero on trip with Third Edge Heli who expertly placed the riders on top of the line aptly named “The Final Boss” and pair absolutely dominated it. Always nice to see a seasoned big mountain rider take a relative newbie under their wing and show them how to charge confidently.
Whats up with Natural Selection Tour 2026
Not a ton of info on the upcoming YETI Natural Selection Tour but they have confirmed an event in Revelstoke in March. The tour is Rice’s brainchild and has produced some of the most heart pumping big mountain competition action in the past few years. We can’t wait to tune in in 2026:
“Get ready for the 2026 YETI Natural Selection Revelstoke, broadcasting live exclusively on Red Bull TV during the March 10–16, 2026 competition window, on the two days Mother Nature selects. 24 of the world’s top snowboarders will take on an expanded, rider-built venue just outside Revelstoke Mountain Resort, with space for live spectators and judged by an all-rider panel. Mother Nature will call the two best days for competition, with 12 riders advancing from Day 1 to finals day, where one man and one woman will be crowned Natural Selection Tour Champions.”
