The 4th Annual Southeast Utah Astro Fest is happening this weekend at three National Parks and guests are encouraged to join rangers for talks, telescope viewing, constellation tours and more! All of the events are free with park admission:

June 20: Island in the Sky, Canyonlands National Park – Kick off with panoramic views and amazing starry skies.

June 21: Dead Horse Point State Park – Experience minimal light pollution for stunning celestial sights.

June 22: Arches National Park – End the festival surrounded by iconic arches and a dazzling cosmos.

The National Parks Service is reminding folks attending Atro Fest 2025 to keep an eye on the weather as telescope viewing may be canceled or affected by clouds or storms and to bring a red flashlight (to maintain night vision). Find compete information on the event schedule below.

Attention stargazers, astronomy enthusiasts, and celestial explorers! Get ready to embark on a journey through the cosmos at the 4th annual Southeast Utah AstroFest, the ultimate astronomy festival happening under the vast skies of Arches National ParkCanyonlands National Park, and Dead Horse Point State Park.

Join park rangers for daytime and evening astronomy programs, telescope viewing, and family friendly activities at locations throughout the parks.

Day 1: Friday, June 20 Island in the Sky District, Canyonlands National Park

Day 2: Saturday, June 21 at Dead Horse Point State Park
