North Cascades National Park has reopened some roads and recreation areas following their closures as the manhunt for triple-homicide suspect Travis Decker continues.
Hundreds of law enforcement personnel are continuing their searches in the surrounding area for the 32-year-old Washington man who is a suspect in the deaths of his three young daughters from the Wenatchee area.
North Cascades National Park officials advise visitors to remain alert and to call 911 immediately if they see or believe you have seen Mr. Decker.
“The suspect has been identified as Travis Decker. Decker was last seen wearing a light colored shirt and dark shorts. Do not approach, the suspect is dangerous and may be armed. If you see, or believe you have seen, Mr. Decker call 911 immediately. Do not attempt to contact or approach him.” -North Cascades National Park

Park officials have opened Stehekin area roads, areas, and trails for day use in coordination with the Chelan County Sheriff’s Office. Overnight stays on previously closed trails, including backcountry camps and cross-country zones, remain closed through June 12.
