Just recalling that time one of the greatest ski racers in the history of the sport nearly met an untimely end when a 22lbs broadcast television drone malfunctioned and almost crushed him during a race in Italy.
The incident happening Madonna di Campiglio back in 2015 when the massive drone lost control and came crashing down as Marcel Hirscher was on course. The drone fell from a height of 65 feet. A camera payload that heavy falling from that high could have easily been fatal if it had been a direct hit.

The drone pilot had been directed not to fly directly over the course and maintain a 50-foot distance from the racer at all times but obviously neither of these instructions were followed. This incident caused a temporary ban on drone use at World Cup events which lasted for years.
