The chairlift operators at Cherry Peak Ski Area like to have a bit of good natured fun using the music played from the speaker at the top terminal and it got a giggle out of ski patroller’s wife who was joining him for lap at the northern Utah ski resort.

“When they see my husband coming, they change the music. The best ski days are made by the people at the resorts & who you ski with!” -Marissa Benson

As a reminder, ski patrol is not the fun police. They are professionals out there working hard every day to prevent dangerous situations and come to our aid in times of need.

While playing theme song to COPS as a ski patroller approaches on a chairlift is no doubt hilarious, we don’t want to promote the perception that skiers and snowboarders are inhibited by ski patrol, rather they are the ones that make it possible to safely enjoy resorts.
