For most people, packing for an international ski trip means either renting skis when you get there or bringing one or two pairs along with you. For professional ski racers, packing for an international race can mean bringing along several pairs of skis.
Professional World Cup skier Stef Fleck packs 15 pairs of skis when she travels for an international race, making for quite the logistic battle. She manages to pack three pairs of skis in each bag, in addition to poles, clothing, and other gear.
I’ve personally never seen this roll-over style of ski bag, but it looks pretty convenient if you have a boatload of skis to travel with. As a general recommendation, if you’re traveling by plane and you’re not a professional ski racer, try to stick with just pair of skis.
