A wide swath of Colorado ski resorts got bountiful snow after a stronb winter blast over Presidents Day weekend with at least 10 clocking in 24 inches since Friday but one resort stands above rest when it comes to total snowfall, if only by two inches. Who is the big winner…Vail!

 Vail – 39 inches

 Crested Butte – 37 inches

 Silverton – 35 inches

 Purgatory – 33 inches

 Aspen Highlands – 29 inches

 Steamboat – 29 inches

 Copper Mountain – 29 inches

 Beaver Creek – 27 inches

 Telluride – 27 inches

 Breckenridge – 27 inches

There’s more snow has fallen over snow in The Centennial State especially around Rabbit Ears Pass and Berthoud Pass with 10 to 24 inches possible by this morning so be careful on the roads and beware of avalanche dangers if you are thinking about riding the backcountry.
