This snowboarder coming into the ski racks next to the Mountain Village Center Station at Telluride Ski Resort may have been doing one to many things at once which caused a momentary lapse in concentration leading to a ski rack falling on top of him, pinning his arm against the snow.
Filming at a ski resort with a telescoping selfie stick can be a safe and fun way to capture your day but it a wise move to stash it away before entering tight zones and high traffic areas.
Luckily there were folks there to help him up, hopefully he was okay and no one was overly miffed that their gear got knocked to the ground. There’s a time and place for selfie sticks, tight quarters while strapped into a snowboard may not be one.
