Corbet's Couloir candid interview
Corbet's Couloir candid interview

Absolutely mint video posted by Jackson Hole Mountain Resort of a casual day spent at the most infamous ski run in North America, Corbet’s Couloir.

The concept of the video is quite simple, post a media crew up top to watch the how skiers and snowboarders fair while attempting to descend the impossibly steep terrain and then post an interviewer at the bottom to get their candid post-game reactions.

Never a dull moment at Corbet’s Couloir. Would love to see the folks at Jackson Hole revive this format this winter, its a winner!

About Corbet’s Couloir :

No ski resort in North America has a chute so legendary as Corbet’s Couloir in Wyoming—a crucible where skiers go to prove their mettle (or more often, to retreat in fear). The run is named for Barry Corbet, a mountaineer who in 1960 spotted a narrow crease of snow shaped like an upside-down funnel, high up on the mountain now known as Jackson Hole. Said he: “Someday someone will ski that.”
