When it comes to ski runs with name recognition, Corbet’s Couloir in Jackson Hole stands heads and shoulders above the rest.

Internationally known as for its intimidating 20-foot drop and 50-degree pitch, Corbet’s one of the steepest ski slopes in North America and has been proving ground for generations of skiers and snowboarders looking to tame some of the toughest inbound terrain in the world.

When skied smoothly, descending Corbet’s can be art in motion and when skied incorrectly people hold their breath. Shout out this 11-year-old skier who gave Corbet’s his best shot but unfortunately ended up in an extended belly slide that took him halfway down the hill.

That initial turn has been gobbling up the best skiers in the world since the 1970’s and we salute this young fella for his bravery. Don’t despair, the tough little guy was absolutely fine after he finally came to rest. Cheers.
