There aren’t many places left in the United States that have seen very little human interaction. Alaska certainly has some incredibly remote areas, but in the lower 48 it’s hard to find a single that doesn’t feel like it’s seen the touch of man.
There are a few areas that reach toward that feeling of remoteness, and there are some places that are so remote they’re dangerous. YouTuber Topo Traveler explored these locations on Google Earth, providing a look at some of the most remote places in the lower 48.
