Two-time Spanish Olympic skier and current World Cup athlete Quim Salarich Baucells has a unique and playful warm up routine before getting on course.

Not to be confused with pickeball or paddle tennis (platform tennis), padel a racket sport that was invented in Acapulco, Mexico in 1969. Thought to be combination of squash and tennis, it is played on a walled court with a ball less pressurized than a standard tennis ball. Although it’s still relatively niche to Americans, padel is massive in Europe and has 25 million active players in more than 90 countries across the world.
