The humors were true! Lindsey Vonn is coming out of retirement to join the Stifel U.S. Ski Team for the 2024-2025 season.
US Ski & Snowboard just issued a press release about Lindsey’s return which comes after careful consideration following successful knee surgery earlier this year. Vonn has been testing her knee in training over the last few months and we are incredibly excited to see her back racing!

Lindsey scored her first World Cup victory back in 2004 and went on to incredible career including 3 Olympic medals, 20 World Cup titles, 4 overall Crystal Globes, 8 World Championship medals, 137 World Cup podiums and 82 World Cup victories.
Ski racing is a tough sport and Lindsey racked up multiple injuries during her storied racing career which forced her to retire after 18 seasons on the World Cup tour. She underwent a partial knee replacement surgery in April and at 40-years-old sh is feeling stronger than ever:
