Direct Weather forecasts an Arctic Invasion.
Direct Weather forecasts an Arctic Invasion.

It’s finally truly feeling like winter. Here in Denver we woke up to the first major amounts of snowfall, and ski resorts are beginning to open left and right. But much of the East Coast is still very warm, with New England states continuing to see temperatures into the 70s. Things could finally start cooling down with a cold front headed that away around November 15, though.

According to YouTuber Direct Weather, the next week could continue to bring a large amount of snowfall to both the Cascades and the Rockies, with several areas easily seeing around a foot. In parts of the southern Rocky Mountains (Colorado & New Mexico), though, snow totals could bring over 3 feet of snow.

Towards the end of the seven day forecast, the focus shifts east. With the mid-November cold front, the East Coast could see some low temperatures with a mix of accumulation, including snow showers in eastern Canada, the upper Midwest, and the North East/Mid Atlantic.

About Direct Weather:

Since my earliest memories, I’ve been captivated by the weather. From freezing moments in the snow to braving thunderstorms on the porch, my fascination with meteorological phenomena became a lifelong passion.

By the age of 12, my weather obsession had become borderline addictive. I delved into YouTube videos, and in 2012, I decided to create content of my own. At such a young age, not many took me seriously, but that only fueled my determination to improve. I devoted myself to studying climate and meteorology, leveraging every resource available.

Now, at 23, my love for weather remains undiminished. I extend an invitation to join me on this ongoing journey of exploration and learning about the intricate world of weather.
