Ski boots 100-meter record attempt
Ski boots 100-meter record attempt

Two-time 800-meter Olympic runner Nick Symmonds was searching for a world record and found one that he believed he could achieve and it involves sprinting in ski boots.

While not recognized by the official governing body of Guinness World Records Book, Nick tossed on what appear to be a pair of Dynafit TLT 7s (touring boots, much better range of motion and movement than alpine boots) and lined up in the starting blocks and threw down a blazing fast 13.71 second 100-meter dash.

The official Guinness World Records Book record is owned by serial record breaker Andre Ortolf how ran it in 13.85. Like running with scissors, running in ski boots is not recommended but if you’re wondering who is the fastest we say Nick!
