Georgian professional motorcycle rider Giorgi Gakheladze trained for six months to pull of this incredible water crossing that took him 20.5 miles across the Black Sea between the coastal Georgian towns of Kobuleti and Poti.
He rode a modified bike with handmade skis crafted by his friend to increase his hydroplaning capabilities and trained for the stunt on a reservoir in Georgia where he honed his skill making 8 mile crossings before stepping up to the Black Sea.
No confirmation of a new world record yet but if his 20.5 mile is verified, it will beat the current record of 19.8 miles set seven years ago by Robbie Maddison.
