River of stone flows down Biokovo Massif in Croatia.

Wild footage out of Biokovo National Park in Croatia where hiker witnessed a rockslide consisting of small stones flow like a river down a mountain. Anyone’s guess what released this build up of loose scree on the Biokovo Massif but the result was simply incredible.

About Biokovo Nature Park:

Biokovo Nature Park is a protected area located in southern Croatia along the Dalmatian coast established in 1981. Biokovo covers an area of 196 km² and spans a 30 km stretch of the Biokovo mountain range. The geography of the park is characterized by the dramatic Biokovo Massif which climbs steeply from the Adriatic Sea to around 1500 meters. The park also features numerous karst phenomena (landscape carved by dissolved bedrock) including sinkholes, grottos, caves, ice pits, and hollows. The main attraction is the Biokovo Skywalk, a clear glass promenade that juts out of a mountain at elevation 1228 meters offering incredible views of the sea and the islands below.
